On Sunday afternoon, we arrived at our hotel in Moab, UT. The last time we tried to see Arches National Park, we stayed at Aarchway Inn and Kayleigh really liked it and wanted to stay again.
We found our booking on Booking.com. Again, the important things to us are 2 beds, non-smoking and preferably a breakfast.
Walking into this place is just so great. The theme is Western and I just love the decor. The woman who checked us in was very nice and even suggested some great places to get some dinner. Across from the desk, there’s a little general store with different snack options.
The Room
Our room was very nice and very clean. The only complaint in the room was that there wasn’t anywhere in the bathroom to set things since the sink was outside the bathroom.
Once we got settled in the room, we changed into swim suites and headed to the heated pool and hot tub! The hot tub jets were fantastic!! Unfortunately, as nice as the pool looked, it was dirty and neither of us got in. After the hot tub, we just sat around the pool and enjoyed some sun!
We went back to our room to change, then ran to the grocery store to grab a few things. We then went back to our room to relax for the evening.
Breakfast
The next morning, we headed to breakfast as soon as it opened. They had a large selection to choose from, including scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, sausage gravy, biscuits, fresh fruit salad, yogurts, pancakes with different toppings, juices and coffee. Kayleigh was in heaven!! She ate so much, I still can’t figure out where she puts it.
Ratings
On a cleanliness scale, I rate this location as a 9/10. Everything was really clean except for the pool. I know it’s normal for things to get in the water, that’s why I didn’t knock too much off for it.
On a friendliness scale, I rate this as a 10/10. Every time we saw an employee, they were extremely and genuinely friendly!
On the breakfast scale, I give this location a 10/10. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the variety. I’m also impressed when a place makes their own gravy!
Overall, I would rate this place as a 9.5/10 and would absolutely be back! This place was a bit on the pricier side, $251.00 for the night. It’s more than I usually spend on a hotel, but prices in this location are higher and we really wanted this place again.
