1. A Beach

This one is always a favorite in my family! Doesn’t matter which one, a beach is always a top choice for a Spring Break or summertime road trip. Some great options that we love are Myrtle Beach and Panama City Beach, but there are so many to choose from!

2. National Park

Maybe you’d like to do more of a nature type trip? If so, check out some National Parks? Find some that are close to you and travel from one to the next! This is what we are planning to do for Spring Break this year. We’re going to Utah and visiting all 5 National Parks while we’re there.

3. Route 66

This historic route is full of amazing sites and activities. Start in Chicago and make your way to Santa Monica Pier in California. Don’t have that kind of time? That’s ok, pick a section and explore that! Be sure to check out the Wigwam Motel in Arizona and Cadillac Ranch in Texas!! There’s just so much to see. This one is one of my bucket list trips and can’t wait to explore it with my kids!

4. Oregon Trail

Another historic trail to explore. It loosely follows the historic trail set by settlers from Massachusetts to Oregon. There are plenty of sites and activities along the way. Be sure to check out Mt. Rushmore and Niagara Falls!

5. Pacific Coast Highway

This is another bucket list road trip for me! Drive up the Pacific Coast Highway and enjoy the changing landscape from beaches to forests!! Stop along the way and take a swim or go for a hike. There’s just so much to do on this epic road trip.
